2025 TIMETABLE - UPHOLSTERY CLASSES
The Upholstery Yard offers leisure classes daytime and evening in six or twelve-week terms, intensive sessions, and Experience Days. We cater for: complete beginners interested in starting upholstery as a new pastime; intermediates who want to further their skills; hobbyists and students who want to finish existing projects; and crafters interested in learning new skills.
Attendees work at that their own pace in a relaxed and friendly environment.
SPRING TERM (ST1) 2025 - 6 WEEK LEISURE CLASS, 3 HOURS PER SESSION
28 April 2025 to 13 June2025 (Classes do NOT run week of 26th May due to school half term)

Make something unique!
A beginner's workshop where you learn the upholstery skills to create an upholstered padded top for a stool. Stool and materials included. Just bring your own choice of top fabric and make something special for yourself or a gift.

INTENSIVE - 3 DAY WORKSHOP
24 - 26 July 2025, 10am-4pm ​
31 July - 2 August, 10am-4pm

This workshop is for beginners or intermediates - anyone who would like to get on with a project over 3 days. From 10am to 4pm.
​
You will be able to leave your project on your dedicated workstation so you can crack on each day without delay. There's plenty of guidance on hand throughout the day and you'll have access to all the tools and materials necessary to progress your project.
